We have only finished second day on The Highway, are sitting alongside a river for the night. It is 11:00 PM, the sun is still shining and we are watching a Monster Big Buffalo grazing along the opposite bank. Have seen several bears, wild horses, elk,and mountain Goats galore. The scenery is beyond words, though I will try at a later date to do a travelogue. Too tired just now. There are many places to spend the night, the best we found are clearings alongside and under bridges. wide areas, room to turn around and usually, one other RV spends the night. Water rushing by is pleasant and cool.Best spots for "Critter Watching" There are also full service CGs available at reasonable intervals. we plan on using them when necessary to empty our tanks, refill fresh water, and get caught up on news etc. We looked up an old schoolmate of Johns, who has a cattle ranch up here and had a really enjoyable visit. Remind me to tell you their stories about their early days of homestea!
ding here and their encounters with bears. there were two on the road into the ranch yesterday. Much more to tell but just too tired now.
