crue's best ever This is a stunning work by the only band that could have created it - a hard rock tour de force concept album that describes the band's early years and the Sunset Strip scene. I challenge any band to match the Grammy nominated title song for sheer power and intensity and then follow it with the sneering masterpiece "MF Of The Year." A magnificent album, easily the best of their storied career.
Best Motley in Years Bought this after seeing Crue Fest. This is the best Motley CD in years. Good hooks, and really rocks. For the Motley fan, must buy.
Motley returns stronger than before.... 'Saints of Los Angeles' is definitely Motley Crue's strongest effort to date (next to the self-titled album) but also encompasses some of the spirit of the old & perhaps the Crue most fans want via 'Dr. Feelgood'/'Girls Girls Girls.' Truly a great balance of bringing the old Crue with a new & heavy direction, not to mention the production is the best of any Motley album & the band has never sounded tighter. Cheers boys!
A More Mature Motley, But Still A Filthy Crue Motley Crue's "Saints of Los Angeles" joins a growing list of new material from prominent hard rock, hairband, and metal acts from the 70's, 80's and early 90's. Whitesnake, AC/DC, Def Leppard and Alice Cooper are just a few of the other acts on that list. What's really amazing about all of them is that sales of these albums have been excellent and the music sounds great. It proves that some things do get better with age.
