Well written and insightful - albeit a computer manual It is easy to see how a computer manual might be compared with chloroform. However, this manual mixes in enough humor and sidebar insights to make it a bit more palatable. It begins with just enough basics to get a new user up to speed, without so many chapters on "how to select icons" that it drives away more advanced users. Overall a great resource for anyone learning Mac OS X for the first time, or trying to brush up after wandering in the Windows wilderness...
