Good Curriculum Supplement "What Your First Grader Needs to Know" is the second in a seven-part series for school children through sixth grade. It encompasses a variety of subjects such as writing, reading, history, math, art, music, science, and touches on different religions in the history section. The book says it gives an overview of what children should know by the end of the first grade. Give Your Child a Headstart !!! This is a great preparatory book for parents of a first-grader...simple, direct and informational. It covers all those important academic and social skills that all children need to learn and be empowered to be prepared for school and to get along with others. So important to make your child successful and love school.
Fantastic book of ideas for early learning My family loves this book. We have been introduced to characters that we weren't familiar with and to new ideas of fun ways to learn together. We pull the book out almost every day.
Love this book I use this book as a guide for homeschooling my son. We have been through the Kindergarten one as well. I have loved everything about them and so does my son. They are perfectly written at age appropriate level.
