Editorial Review:
In this classic work, Eric Butterworth sees the divine within us all to be a hidden and untapped resource of limitless abundance. Exploring this "depth potential," Butterworth outlines ways in which we can release the power locked within us and let our "light shine."
Butterworth demonstrates that the existence of this divine dimension in each individual is the greatest discovery of all time. He explains the universality of such vital subjects as: how to succeed; how to pray; how to find confidence; how to overcom personal problems; and how to find healing. With insight and sensitivity, Butterworth opens new doors of self-knowledge, and outlines ways in which we can release the power within.

A Five Star Preacher Rev Butterworth delves into, after a couple of introductory chapters, a new way of looking at the old teachings of Jesus. He avoids most of the biblical story ABOUT Jesus; rather, he focuses on what Jesus said and how that might work for us now. It does have a ring of truth about it. I am using it as a study guide for a small group who want to look deeper at our spiritual beliefs and individual spiritual unfoldment. I recommend the book.
Removes the Shackles of Religious Dogma This book broke new ground for me. I have read many, many, books and new ground is rarely reached!
I agree with another review that it had many Bible quotes,BUT in the context of this book, you see them much more clearly than ever. It is NOT a religious book, even if it does quote the Bible. What Dr Butterworth does is refers to "the writing in red" and the deeper truths spoken by Jesus Christ, bypassing the pulpit and any religious agendas.

'Weekend Warrior" missed the point The book is spiritual yes, however religious NO. There is not one religion or doctrine centered in this writing. In fact, it is about your becoming and remaining connected with GOD. How we work with the power within not without (ie religions) is what makes the difference. The author centers on the life of the Christ not from a religious stand point but as a demonstration of what man is capable of. GOD didn't create Christianity, Buddhism, Judiasm, Islam, Taoism, or any other religion...man did. I... more info
